Pop star Billie Eilish is a massive success. Her unique style of singing and personality have really captivated people and she’s one of the hottest things around.

So it’s not too surprising to hear that Eilish will perform the theme song for the upcoming James Bond film, No Time To Die. She’s been the rumored pick for a few days but the news was officially announced today via the James Bond Twitter feed.

We aren’t sure the name of the song or when it’ll be released but we can guess it’ll be markedly different from the last few Bond songs, created by Sam Smith, Adele and Jack White and Alicia Keys (the less said about that last one, the better). Eilish has a very distinct style and vibe, kind of like a witch meets Avril Lavigne.

Eilish is definitely a smart choice for the job. She’s popular and only becoming more popular and she also has a vibe that will add something new to the long catalogue of Bond themes. Some may be worried that her song may be too weird or kooky but I bet her performance won’t be exactly like her hit singles. And, hell, even if it is that isn’t the end of the world. I’d rather have a wildly different Bond song than a bland, predictable one.

Fun note: Eilish is only 18 years old which means she is the youngest artist to nab this job. Also, she was just four when Daniel Craig’s first Bond venture, Casino Royale, hit theaters. If that doesn’t make you feel ancient, nothing will.
