365 Days of Sci-Fi, Movie NewsComment

"From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you've probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the "so bad, they're good" films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby's 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it's all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch -- the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he's at or what he's doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That's a whole year of the quality concepts you've come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS."

And now... DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SIX:

“Feeling heroic again.”

- Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“It’s so hard to find good help.”

LOSERS: When the world’s greatest heroes go missing, it’s up to a band of misfit sidekicks to uncover the conspiracy and save the day. Will they rise to the challenge and discover their inner heroes?  Or will they discover too late that one of them is actually the villain?

Nick Says: Has this not been done? If not kudos to the comic industry. It is the formula for a nice high concept success. May I suggest a few sidekicks?

The Red Wriggler: A man with the proportionate abilities of a worm used for bait.

Mr. Denim: A dude who can turn anything he touches into jeans.

The Glowbot: A mechanical man who provides light for when missions happen at night or in caves.

Sherpa Abe: He can carry a lot. I mean A LOT.

The Lord of Power: A man in tights who prances around trying to fuck everyone.
