"From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you've probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the "so bad, they're good" films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby's 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it's all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch -- the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he's at or what he's doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That's a whole year of the quality concepts you've come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS."

And now... DAY ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY-SEVEN:

“Here’s another go at the Steampunk horror movie I know we’re all secretly dying to see.”

GENTLEMEN OF CONSEQUENCE: Secret societies, ghosts, grave robbers, mad science, a killer on the loose, demons living beneath the streets, cult members in positions of power… What do they all have in common? They all must answer to The Gentlemen of Consequence. The story opens on late 19th Century New York City, where a mysterious string of disappearances has the police baffled.  When an enterprising young detective stumbles upon evidence of the supernatural, he’s soon approached by members of an ancient order dedicated to protecting mankind from the things that go bump in the night.  They may be centuries old, but this group has a few new tricks up its sleeve.  As our detective is brought into the fold and given a corner office, he sees things men were never meant to see, learns things few men get to learn, and soon finds that even his own personal tragedy might be linked to a great evil that has resurfaced and is once again looking to gain a foothold in our unsuspecting world. Lucky for us, the Gentlemen of Consequence let no bad deed go unpunished.

Nick Says: Classy and cool. Totally wasted on my crowd!
