"From the mind behind the mega-hit Syfy show you've probably never heard of (EUREKA) comes a tribute to all those no-budget Syfy original movies and the "so bad, they're good" films that inspired them. Move over Roger Corman, step back Ed Wood, make way on your weekend programming schedule Mr. Stern, because here comes Andrew Cosby's 365 DAYS OF SCI-FI.

And it's all happening here! Each day, your friends at CHUD will bring you a brand new bad movie pitch -- the best of the worst title Cosby can come up with, no matter where he's at or what he's doing, rain or shine, drunk or sober. That's a whole year of the quality concepts you've come to expect from the network that brought you MANSQUITO and SHARKTOPUS."

And now... DAY TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX:

There just aren’t enough Jewish folklore horror films.  Am I right?

- Andy Cosby (Twitter)

“Let the Wrong One In.”

PASSING DYBBUK: On a remote farm in post-war Poland, a poor Jewish family takes in a wayward drifter, only to discover that he’s possessed by a dybbuk, a dislocated soul that attaches itself to the living in order to fulfill some unfinished worldly business.  Familiar with such things, the head of the household knows what they’re dealing with and helps the haunted drifter carry out the dybbuk’s undead request in order to rid him and his family of the malevolent spirit.  But it’s not going to be easy, as this particular ghost seeks revenge against an escaped Nazi war criminal and his cronies, who are currently hiding out somewhere in Warsaw.

Nick Says: Not as scary as a Dubya, but scary nonetheless.
