Some things go together like peanut butter and jelly: late July and Shark Week, movie theaters and sticky floors, Nick Frost and Simon Pegg. These are things that just belong together!

And it looks like they’ll be together once again. Variety is reporting that Frost and Pegg are re-teaming for Truth Seekers, a horror-comedy series that’ll stream on Amazon. The show will be about a couple of ghost hunters who uncover a massive, dangerous secret that puts us all in danger. Here’s how Variety puts it:

Frost plays Gus, one half of a ghost-hunting, duo who team up to uncover and film paranormal sightings across the U.K. in the series. They stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals using an array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos and share their adventures on an online channel. Their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, terrifying, and even deadly as the pair begin to uncover a conspiracy that could threaten the entire human race.

It sounds pretty heavy but I swear it’ll have some laughs too.

Frost and Pegg conjured up Truth Seekers back in 2017 and have been hunting for a proper TV home ever since. They’ll produce the series through their Stolen Pictures. No word on who else will star or when the show will debut.

This is undeniably great news. We should celebrate whenever Frost and Pegg appear together in anything, even in something less than stellar. The universe just feels right when they’re starring alongside each other. Their chemistry is undeniable and their sense of humor always shines. Plus they tend to choose projects that have a sci-fi or horror angle, something that appeals to all of us here at Trouble City. Frost and Pegg just get us. We feel seen.

Having them once again appear together in a television series is very exciting. Instead of just two hours with these characters, we will get multiple episodes of them. Of course they got their start on the brilliant Spaced so many years ago and that show is considered a classic by many. Will Truth Seekers be as good as that series? It’ll definitely have more ghosts — you can’t say no to that!
